If you're using a comminications program, such as Telix or Windows
Terminal to connect to a Linux system, then look into the programs 'rx
/ sx', 'ry /sy', and 'rz/sz', for xmodem, ymodem, and zmodem file
transfers, respectively. Check the man pages for more info.

One caveat, I have found that I often have to use the sz option "-o" in
order to make the transfers work properly. This option turns off the
defaulting to 32-bit CRC and uses a 16-bit CRC, which seems to be more
compatible.
