-fn 10x20 in xterm (as supplied by Steven) fills the screen nicely but
it messes up screens with BOLD characters on them, such as the links in
Lynx and also one of the screens from Pine (type L for a list of folders).
Characters appear double on the same line or the following line.
James suggested a solution involving -fb (specify bold font). I would not
have realized otherwise that bold was the problem.
-fn linux8x16 fixes this problem with bold but it scrambles the screen
when I use the bbs and makes it pretty much unusable.
-fn 9x15 -fb 9x15bold fixes both problems but the font is awfully
spidery and there were no other large bold in that category. I could not
find 10x20bold or 9x18 (which James suggested).
There are many other fonts listed that come in normal and bold and various
sizes - any suggestions how to select from them? I tried selecting a font
marked with -10- but it came out rather tiny. Is this pitch rather than
pixels?
