Your "ls" command is looking in the wrong place. If you mounted your
floppy in /mnt/floppy then point your ls to /mnt/floppy ie
---------------------
ls /mnt/floppy
--------------------
The same with the cdrom, if you mounted your cdrom on /mnt/cdrom try this:

ls /mnt/cdrom
------------------
