Hi, sorry to bother you - I'm a beginner.

I will try to put at http://www.netaxs.com/~sisaac/winipcfg.jpg
a screenshot of the winipcfg command output for this Win98 computer,
called 'ASUS' . The info is exactly the same for the other (Win98SE)
computer connected via crossover cable, except that computer is called
'AMD300'.

The Win98SE computer, "AMD300", also has BasicLinux, and I wonder how to
set it up so that it can at least recognize the "ASUS" via the connection?
And vice-versa, have the ASUS running Win98 be able to see files on the
other computer when it's running BL.

I know somebody mentioned Samba, but please be patient with me; can I just
take little steps?
