I got xlHtm from the catdoc site as a separate program. I use antiword to
read WORD files - it seems to do a better job with the more complicated
ones than does catdoc. I had no idea catdoc now includes the Excel
convertor. Is there a Linux binary of catdoc that will work with BL2?
Antiword was available precompiled from Slackware.

I just realized that we can use the 475MHz computer with Redhat 7 as a
tool to determine the horizontal and vertical refresh rates of all our
monitors and the specifications of our video cards - just plug them into
that computer and it will reconfigure XF86Config, then put them into the
Basiclinux computer and enter the correct numbers manually based on the
Redhat file.
