It may be possible to use pine to read/compose mail
while using still using pmail (the BL2 pop/smtp client).
It may be just a matter of telling pine where to find
the mail directory. I suggest you install pine and
try to point it at ~/mail/inbox (and outbox). Or you
could edit /usr/bin/mail and alter the pmail lines to
point at the locations pine uses. While you are in
/usr/bin/mail, change the mailz line to run pine.
If it works, please send a step-by-step and I will add
it to the "How to add new packages" page.
