It is an interesting
proposal and may shed some light on why some roots are related. It also
would appear to make Hebrew (and the other Semitic languages?) unique, as I
have never seen anyone propose such a correlation between phonemes and
meaning for other language families.

You may find it interesting to make google searches with mimology, mimologie.

That kind of theory is obviously not following the usual arbitrariness of the signs as taught by std Saussurean linguistics.
But it does exist.
For example:
Mimologics by GĂ©rard Genette
Bohas's theories which we have already mentioned before also use that word.
