Scholars will get around to that as soon as they finish reading tea leaves. The Torah did not predict Hitler or George Bush's stupidity. The authors had their own problems in the Iron Age.

I think that Torah Codes is not protected from criticism is because
it purports to be a form of language communication, Albeit a very
complicated one based on a "matrix." If it is therefore a form
of communication it is then subject to criticism by linguists and by
extension peer review by mathematicians and the other sciences.

I have heard that the belief that you can count the letters of the Torah
and find hidden words is part of Jewish tradition. I thought on B-Hebrew
you can't attack other people's religious beliefs, so why are people calling
it part of the "dark side" of scholarship meant to make money. There are
religious people who believe in it, so I think it is wrong to attack it on a
forum for discussing Biblical Hebrew and not religous beliefs of Jews and
some Christians who are now doing this.
Why don't the commentators stop this anti-religious discussion?
Kenneth Greifer
Then by extension you would consider Brown's "Da Vinci Code" protected from
criticism because some gullible people consider those with Merovingian
ancestry (which would include everyone on the planet) as descendents of
Jesus?
