The discussion by you and Jack also insulted people and scholars who look for Noah's ark.

I don't think somebody who is looking for Noah's ark can be a scholar or a scientist.

These comments were meant

No, they were not.
Not by me in all cases.

to insult religous people who believe in the Bible more literally than other people. That is also not part of the list's scope. I was just commenting on the insults that should not be on this list. For example, calling the search for Noah's ark the dark side of scholarship is an anti-religious

No.
Looking for Noah's ark is not far from sheer nonsense.

opinion because Noah's ark might actually exist.
***
It certainly cannot exist.
It's a myth.

Also, writing from memory, I recall someone using the word "hucksters" who were out for money to describe certain people and scholars who have different religious beliefs than you two have. I don't know what the fallacy is if you two insult scholars who disagree with the good side of scholarship that you must be part of.
***
I did not use the word "huckster" (the meaning of which is fairly fuzzy to me) and I did not speak about "good or dark side".

Maybe the fallacy is that you can't even imagine that you broke the list's rules and someone less educated than you pointed it out because I took your comments as an insult against me, personally.

I'm afraid this is your problem.
This was not an insult.
If you take dissenting points of view as insults this is your problem, not the problem of dissenters.

Anyway, people have the right to "believe" whatever they like to believe,
especially if it does not cause any harm to others.
If you cannot accept expressions of dissent or rejection of your "beliefs",
then you're the one who has a problem.
Characterizing these regular expressions as "attacks" or "anti-religious" is
nothing but a fallacy.
The only thing that is really objectionable about those Kabalistic fancies
is that it somewhat falls beyond the scope of the list.
