Hi,

Due to recent discussions I've been rereading a lot of the texts in Genesis. One phrase that leapt out at me was CGN YHWH, C)RZ MZRIM at Genesis 13:10.

Now the way this seems to read to me, at first sight, is as a parallel. i.e. like the garden of YHWH and the land of Egypt are parallel in:

a) being the same place of the same natural beauty as the Jordan
b) just the sense of natural beauty

How do other people read this?

James Christian
