Why just Hebron?

The same old arguments will come back up in a different thread on Heshbon or
Heshmon and when he's done with these he will go on to (or back to) Hermon or
some other Havalzmon.

And the really ridiculous thing about it is that he's using the
Egyptian geographic lists
to argue his point when these are the exact sources that prove him
wrong. It's like a
lawyer in court who tells the audience, "if the suspect is the killer,
we should expect to
find his fingerprints on this gun!" And the police officer in the
witness stand says, "But
Sir, the suspect's fingerprints are on the gun!"

I have a better idea. Instead of making the world stop each time Jim
wants to rehash
the same arguments over and over in lengthy mails that make no sense because
he
knows neither linguistics nor Akkadian, or Egyptian, why not let the
world go on its
business while Jim learns linguistics and Afroasiatic languages. Jim
will become more
educated, the people in the world will be able to do something
productive instead, and
lots of bandwidth will be saved. Everybody wins!
