I’ll back up George on this. I have found that Microsoft and Mac don’t work
well with several languages, not just Hebrew. As a result, I use the
Microsoft products on Mac only for English, If I have files that need
multiple languages, I use OpenOffice.org or the Mac-ized version called
NeoOffice.

Another story, I was with a person yesterday where we were trying to save a
html file as unicode without invoking the Microsoft save as html function in
Windows™ programs. Things that I had taken for granted on the Mac and almost
as easy on Linux, I was unable to replicate on the Windows™ computer. We
ended up getting the work done in Linux (much to the other person’s disgust,
because he doesn’t like Linux) and he is now getting ready to get a Mac.
