In many African languages words start with "kp". In fact this is usually a "double articulation", the air stream being closed with both the tongue and the lips and then released from both simultaneously. Try it. I doubt if this was ever the Hebrew pronunciation, but at least this proves that such a pronunciation is not impossible.

Phonological words in Russian can also start with "kp": they are words consisting of the preposition к followed by a word starting with п. Here is an example from a Google search, in fact from http://www.poland.gov.pl/%D0%A1%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%8C,%D0%B4%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%8F,%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%BB%D1%8F%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B2,%D0%BA,%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B7%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%BD%D1%8B%D0%BC,%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%82%D0%BEm,1550.html:
