Could Genesis 2:19 be about a second creation where G-d creates the animals again , but this time to let Adam pick a help-mate?
HH: It is a second story of creation only for the sake of focusing on details unsuited to the first account. It reviews the broader picture to focus in on the man and his interactions with God.
Also, why does it say "...and He brought them to the man to see what He will call them...". I don't see the words "them" in the quote.
HH: Sometimes the accusative is understood in Hebrew from the context or an earlier mention.
