I assume that there must be some corruption in the text of the passage
above. :-)
Is it possible that what was intended was simply 38.15? Or, another
possibility, are the number inverted so that it should be read "38.13,
15"?
If so, you have come close to answering your own question. The subject
of the infinitive Le)e:XoZ in v. 13 must be B.oQeR in v. 12. The reverent
of )oWRfM in v. 15 would likewise be B.oQeR. This would raise the issue
as to why the pronominal suffix is pl. Perhaps this referred back in the
author's mind to Gen 1.14 where it is stated
WaY.oMeR )e:LoHiYM Y:HiY *** M:)oRoT *** B.iR:QiYa( Ha$.fMaYiM
and thus referenced "lights" pl.

On my keyboard it is #(shift 4) -- probably because when Windows XP is
configured for this side of the Atlantic the "pound sterling" is shift 3,
and the dollar sign is on shift 4. But this is all covered in Jimmy Adair's
