Okay, for the time being, Liz....here are some references from "The Place of
Faith and Grace in Judaism"

Used of G-d in three ways and of humans in one way:

1.G-d's Creation:
-Psalm 136

2.G-d's Covenant:
Psalm 136 (again) especially note verses 21 and 22
Deuteronomy 7:9,12

3.God's Forgiveness:
Psalm 33:22
Psalm 119:124
Exodus 34:5-7

Humans

No specific verses listed but acts of exceptional kindness and
goodness....(burying a dead person with no hope for a response for the
action taken)
