Wow!!! These are some GREAT responses (even tho I don't fully understand
some of them...yet!); thank you all so very much for sharing your
knowledge on this!!!!!

BTW, the book I read this from is called "Prayerbook Hebrew The Easy
Way" (3rd Edition). On page 3, Chapter 1, it talks about the "Noun
Sentence" and gives the following Noun Sentences (with the Hebrew
letters and then the English):

You are a king

I am a father

Moses is a king

It then states the following: "These are complete Hebrew Sentences. As
you can see, they contain no word for 'is, am' or 'are'. These words do
not exist in Hebrew and must be added in an English translation."

It goes on to say there is no word for "a" or "an" and these words, too,
must be added in an English translation.

The above is the context that the statement was in, which brought about
my original question.

Again, thanks so very much for helping me get a better understanding of
the "I AM" statement. :^)
