I'll go as far as to say that a modern Christian interpretation of the
Torah is at least as valid as any first century CE Jewish or Christian
interpretation.

I believe New Testament interpretations of the Hebrew Scriptures are
just as valid as Talmudic interpretations of the Hebrew Scriptures.
In other words, Christian interpretations are just as valid as
modern Jewish interpretations.
