There are approximately
172 occurrences of the word livHor 'to choose' in the Bible.
This includes 6 nifal passives and 20 passive adjectives.

The technology for such knowledge is to flip open Even-shoshan,
Concordance,
check his parameters,
e.g. he did not include the noun baHur 'young man',
and note the numbers for both qal and nif`al.
I would treat piel and hif`al as distinct words, were they to exist with a
particular root.
