Let's stick to the point. You said "And particularly if
prototokws in 1:15 is taken in the only meaning it has in
the Bible, "the one who is born first"."
Ps 89:27/28 is sufficient to disprove your statement since
prototokws there (LXX) has
nothing to do with birth as a creative process (which is how
you insist it must be
used in Colossians). This is also of course relevant
because Paul's usage in Col may
be directly or indirectly dependant on the Psalm.
