Dear Moon-Ryul Jung,
I think the two uses of the root $m` in the expression ti$me`u ... li$moa`
have two senses. In the yiqtol the sense is listen, activated by the word
'elay. In the infinitive the sense is obey, activated by both its location
within the ti$me`u clause and the phrase `al dibrey.
Shalom,
Bryan
