This is just for the initial install, after that you can put on whatever you
want.

Yep, vim is one of the first I do as well.

Heh, I forgot about slang, so there's another reason to remove jed. I see we
have one user of jed so far, but he wouldn't mind it being removed if he's the
only one. ;)

elvis is vi-like enough to suite my needs during install.
