I'm sorry, Jim.  I thought I saw it but I can't find it in any catalogs now.

Unfortunately for me, I am now experiencing difficulty in finding/buying
the (hybrid) seed.

I haven't had a chance to seriously hunt for Jingle Bells yet (which I also grow, though I don't depend on it as heavily); last year I got it from Pinetree, which only does small packets, but I don't need much of this. Pinetree doesn't show it in the catalogue this year either. If I do come across it somewhere, I'll let you know.

Seed Savers Exchange catalogue (www.seedsavers.org; 563-382-5990) lists the open-pollinated Miniature Red Bell, as well as Miniature Chocolate Bell and Miniature Yellow Bell. I have grown all of these; Miniature Red Bell is, unfortunately, smaller and slightly later than Jingle Bells; but you might want to try it. You might also want to try the other two. The three colors together make a really nice mixed pack at market.
