Thanks. I found the actual link for the 3-in-1 LED on http://www.rayovac.com/products/flashlights/LED.shtml It looks like a larger and heavier head lamp option, but having the red light option might well outweigh that disadvantage. Is anyone else out there using a red light / lens and can share brands or online links?

Sorry, I should have posted the information along with my post. The light is made by Rayovac and is their Sportsman Series "3-in-1 head-lite."  It uses 4 AAA batteries and has three light selections, two LED (flood light) selections (one red and the other a blue/white light) and a long range quartz spot light.  I rarely if ever use the spot light selection, however the LED beams will last a few nights without changing batteries. Since the light is made for a head and not a helmet, so you will need to secure the strap in a couple of places to keeping from moving.

I somehow missed the earlier post with reference to the red light on the helmet. What brand is that helmet light that has the option of red or white light? Do you have a web site link you can share?
