We had a terrible heavy wet snowstorm Tuesday night and into yesterday. Well
over a foot of snow. It broke many branches, and trees, and was a mess.
Power was off and on, we had a generator that we kept on for the baby
chickens. We had cabbage and broccoli planted under row cover, but will have
to wait until it melts some to get to it and see how damaged it all is. Good
thing those are fast to germinate, as I am sure we will have to replace
them. The sun is out, so maybe it will melt soon, but we still have chilly
weather. Never can predict here when it will snow, frost or whatever! I
guess no where is predictable.
