Good question. There is a modest sized mushroom farm not too far from our
research farm that primarily sells to medium size customers but will sell 10
lb packs to consumers as well. They're just button mushrooms. Don't know
much more about it but it suggests that consumers might have an interest.
The question is whether you can match production scale to the market around
you. Perhaps growing several types could attract more business.
