Add to /etc/rc
udhcpc

Thanks. It works! (preceeded by ifconfig eth0 192.168.2.X).

You should not need the ifconfig if you are running dhcp/udhcpc.

Use one or the other.

Without udhcpc you can put into rc (instead)
ifconfig 192.168.2.15

And in /etc/resolve.conf
nameserver 8.8.8.8

dhcp queries the dhcp server about available IP numbers and probably
also about the DNS server to use. If you have a non-varying system you don't need to keep asking. It will boot a bit faster.

Any idea about CD format?

Best,

Harry.

Put your CD into another computer where it is readable and run mini_httpd in the directory of the mounted CD that you want to read or copy a file from. Access it with a browser.
