UNCENSORED CLASSIC ROCK on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday 9 p.m.-
midnight
This week on the Thursday Night Feature, we’ll be hearing rock and roll
that commercial radio can't or won't play. WXYC: your home of the
*real* commercial-free rock block city, beeotch!

YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA, “XOO Multiples" on the Classic Inside Track,
Sunday 2-3 p.m.
This week's Classic Inside Track will be The Yellow Magic Orchestra's
1980 release "X00 Multiplies." Still regarded as one of the most
important and influential bands ever to emerge in Japan, YMO pioneered
the blending of traditional Asian melodies with electronic beats and
Eno-esque ambience.

A discussion of MIDWIFERY on Northern Hemisphere Live, Sunday 5-7 pm.
Many mothers are choosing to give birth with the assistance of a
midwife, and in a physical environment that does not involve a hospital
room, heavy drugs and sedation. This option is geared to answering a
woman and her family's needs, and the field of midwifery encourages
breastfeeding and de-medicalizing childbirth. On this week’s NHL, we’ll
discuss this and other related topics, especially concerning the legal
issues of midwifery and homebirthing in NC, different types of
midwives, and options for expectant mothers. Listeners are invited to
call in and participate.

Also this week and every week:
-THE INSIDE TRACK: a new release played in full Monday, Wednesday and
Friday, 9 p.m.

world Sunday 10 a.m.-1 p.m
