That's an idea.

Disadvantages:
- - Probably a lot.

The changes to the client is small enough to keep (ie.: a one-line change on two files), while the server can be made a spell.

I agree this is of limited interest, though...

If enough people want it in the sorcery, why not? BTW, there's I believe a feature that would look up a URL from an environment variable (possibly set in /etc/sorcery/loca/config) and use this one in a way similar to --url option to `summon'. I know writing code is more fun than unwinding someone esle's, but try analyzing the `summon' code. If it's there, I think it's enough of a proxy ;-).
