I would say it should rather not be stored in the spells config. If we
were using a system like chkconfig to control runlevels, the spell could
ask for an initial configuration at cast time and just put that in the
chkconfig lines in the script. That way it could be safely changed
without recasting the spell.

That said, i think we should definitely use chkconfig, it's easy to use
and quite powerful.

working on the spell... actually I thought I would be done by now, but difficulties arose.

...and so on. The question about adding kill links to 0 and 6 isn't
necessary with some things (e.g. filesystems that mount.sh stop will kill,
checkfs) but you get the idea. Should we do this? Anyone know of a program
that does this already?

He's got a great idea though. We should add the runlevels/priorities to the CONFIGURE, maybe.
