------- Additional Comments From nyoxi AT seznam.cz 2004-10-22 07:18 -------
I still have a feeling that you don't see my point (or I don't see yours
because
I'm not familiar with how the cast works inside, if this the case just let me
know).

I don't want from you to put away index files. No, I realy understends the
benefits index files bring. And I don't want from you to make cast look for
spells. What I'm trying to tell is that cast could check if the spell is realy
where index files think it is. Now it blindly trusts to index files which I
think is not fully correct. My solution I'm trying to explain is that it could
check for the DETAILS file (oh yes I meant DETAILS not DEPENDS in previous
comment) and issue a warning that index files are not actual and stop.

Again you can complain that it's my fault and that I had to keep index files
synced. I agree, of course you're right. But looking on cast that pretends
it's
trying to extract sourcefile for which it even doesn't know real name will
make
you think which one of you is more stupid.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell. Not sure whether it's better to
call this bug or feature request ...
