Correct, with BI_ARCH the spell will need to be compiled and installed for
both
archs (or for all archs if we do the multi-arch support).

I also like the second method of doing all builds and then all installs. We'll
need separate SOURCE_DIRECTORIES though, for that method.

We could check ARCH against LIB[0] (since the first LIB[0] entry should be the
"native" entry) to determine if we're compiling for a native or non-native
arch.

Spells which do not use default_build will need to have bugs filed to have
them
fixed up, and unfortunately not all packages even support --libdir via
configure, much less configure, so those will be a little trickier.

I would like this done as we have time, but targetted towards post 1.0 unless
we
find an easy and non-intrusive way to set it up. It'd be nice to have proper
ppc
and sparc ports for our 1.0 release, but by no means a requirement.
