i think a more general way of doing this would be to allow jumping into a
spell at certain points, so if
BUILD fails for whatever reason (say the power goes out), then the user could
concievably jump
back in again, of course this begs the question of why BUILD also installs.

If we had BUILD do _just_ the building, then had a PRE_INSTALL script (that
runs prepare_install by
default), then had another file called INSTALL, then my solution would be
more feasable. If an act of
god causes BUILD to be interupted, then the user can go through and manually
finish it, then have
cast pick up again in PRE_INSTALL.

Obviously to implement this we would need to make both files optional (as
with all files but DETAILS)
. then work on switching over spells. That process shouldn't be too hard
since we would just need to
have a script that splits on prepare_install.
