We're working on setting up CVS access, and then it will, truly, be public.
As
for now, you'll need a Perforce account to access it (I believe Tony mentioned
that there is/or is possible to have anonymous access to the Perforce
repository).

4.3.99.10 has shown to be very stable (I've had no problems with it, nor have
I
heard any complaints. Granted, I haven't gone looking to see, but...), whereas
mozilla 1.5b was /just/ updated.

If you know how to use CVS fairly well, and Perforce, perhaps you could help
us
work on the P4<->CVS sync so that we can get this going. I'm a fair newb at
CVS, and am not too well versed in P4, but I can get around. I'd really love
to
have CVS up, as some of our developers won't use Perforce, and this would open
up direct access to them as well as allowing checkouts of the devel grimoire
for
anyone whom wants to (and doesn't want to interface with the possible
anonymous
checkout from Perforce).

You don't /have/ to, but you can if you want. What we're trying to get at here
is a more stable environment for our users so that they won't have to worry
about the next update destroying their system. Most of the packages in test
are
already bleeding edge (well, as bleeding edge as a packaged release, not
checked
out from CVS). We discussed this a while ago, and it was decided to go this
route. Those whom want to use the devel grimoire as their main grimoire (even
though very few changes don't make it into test from devel within a day),
they'll just have to do a little more work than 'scribe add test'.
