Yes i am sorry, i believe i was a "little" harsh. My point might have been
valid but i think even Ghengis Khan would have been proud of my "leave no
survivors" strategy. Sorry :)

Ok i just meant to browse the website for a FAQ or HOWTO. So you could see if
the problem was already known and/or fixed.

We need another way to get that log file from you. Your mail client chewed it
up and spat it out as Heiroglyphics (you are in windows ?, probably because
it doesn't recognise tar.bz2 as a file extension)

You might find this link interesting. i only found it recently and it is a
pretty good description of how to get maximum help in 0 seconds. And it is
also very funny!

We can still do some work before we look at the log.
If you are using a 2.4.X kernel then those two patches shouldn't be applied.
It will cause problems with the resulting driver. If they are than it is a
bug in the spell or with sorcery's handling of some commands to check the
kernel version.
There is one other possibility. Where you actually running the 2.4.22 kernel
when you tried to cast NVIDIA_driver ? If you had cast the 2.4.22 kernel but
weren't using it that could be a problem. especially as the nvidia.o kernel
driver gets installed to /lib/modules/$(uname -r).
The first thing i do after booting a new kernel is cast -c NVIDIA_driver,
which installs the driver into the current kernel module tree.
If the patches are being applied, AND you have the latest version of the
spell(i dont mean the 1.0-4363 i mean latest writing of script) then you
should check /var/state/sorcery/packages to see what version of linux sorcery
thinks you have.
