I only have one issue, and it relates to the lack of useful information in
your request for help!
What kernel version, what version of sources/ headers what version of the
NVIDIA_driver spell, is the kernel installed by cast or manually and finally
have you looked around for some sort of answer yourself? You say you changed
an option in the config file. And looked on the web ? Have you recompiled the
kernel and built AGPGART as a module or is it still built in ? Have you
visited the site that distributes these patches (see link below)?
And no i am not just Flaming you !
I want to know what you have already done so i can help you efficiently!
There is no point in me explaining the basics if you have already checked
them.
I can already see a problem if a patch for development kernels didn't get
applied. That means the nvidia kernel driver will be incapable of interfacing
properly with a development kernel so it's no wonder you have no GLX when you
use option 0 or 1 ( and YES i am annoyed as i had to look up what these
options mean ! ).
I think you should repost this with some useful content, STARTING with the
error from the patch failing.
