No I'm not. It's always a bad idea to inform people before you know what to tell them, and that's why the devel grimoire and sm-grimoire@ are here: to figure things out and _then_ run screaming. Now that we know the cause and the cure, it's safe and very desireable that "people" know the truth about OpenSSL 0.9.7 update ;-).
And btw, I don't read news.sourcemage.org 'cause it's not being updated lately.

This is true, but what's also true is that Julian introduced the new fixincludes-related question in CONFIGURE very gradually and had only recently changed the default to 'n', so there was simply not enough time yet to assess the impact. Any such post that you suggest, in the event that the switch actually produced new problems in addition to solving old ones, would be a very bad and unwise thing to do. I think that the pace of open-source development is not constant and is usually slow.
