Well, definitely we don't want further problems, but we're talking
about drop-in replacements.

As said before, with the exception of a minor glitch, there were no
noticeable side effects so far after replacing gawk. There are a few
places in sorcery which still use gawk explicitly, I will be working
on fixing that.

Regarding bash, disabling readline nls and curses yields a much slimmer
variant

bash binary sizes (stripped):
932616 dynamic, glibc, all features
680208 dynamic, glibc
815848 static, musl

That's why I think musl is a good option for such a static environment
if we had to have one.
