Sure, the protos themselves may cast fine, but what about their
dependencies?

fixesproto:
Package 'FixesProto' requires 'xextproto >= 7.0.99.1' but version of
XExtProto is 7.0.4

recordproto:
Breaks libxtst.

xproto:
Causes libx11 1.1.5 to fail

libxext:
Fails to compile with libx11 1.1

xextproto:
Breaks old libxext

You probably are not using libxcb 1.1 and libx11 1.1.
