That depends on what your department will allow. Implementing SELinux,
PAX, etc. themselves for security into SMGL is not ground breaking by
any means, other distributions already have this. If you could come up
with a clever method of implementing them, then *that* might qualify.
Sorcery and Prometheus have a more apparent use in a master's thesis, as
they have algorithms and aren't readily available in most popular
distributions out there.
