Hi Pol,
I've only used Cyrillic fonts and X keyboard "group switch". I don't
think I've ever gotten Cyrillic type in a terminal window in X or in an
actual terminal session, or made the system show messages etc. in
Russian. I did try to experiment with LC_* variables sometime ago, and I
believe they did have effect. I didn't go very far though. Sorry!
