Hi all,
I've just finished a spell (for the moment it's in dev grimoire) and I'd
lke your opinion about 2 points.
To start, the spellname is unfortunately root simply because the devs
decided to name their program this way. Afrayedknot said it shouldn't be
any problem for sorcery but if someone see a good reason I could still
change the spellname to smthg like "cern_root" (it's made by cern
physicists).
The second point is about the licence
(http://root.cern.ch/root/License.html): it is not listed our usual free
licences and I think alley_cat and afrayedknot told me it's not fsf
compliant but I wanted to be sure; so shall I put it in z-rejected or
not?
To Afrayedknot (or any sorcery dev):
at first I had these error messages when cast was trying to interpret my
architectures file, probably because I had put the dialog command
in PRE_BUILD instead of in CONFIGURE. Then I corrected everything and
the spell was casting fine but I still had these error messages and it
couldn't be because of the spell because the lines cast was trying to
interpret didn't even exist anymore (those were lines in my
old architectures file that I removed after we discussed about which
arch we really support.)
I ran cleanse and it had no effect but when I removed
/etc/sorcery/local/depends/root and same_path/root.p I never had these
messages again.
Just telling you that in case it could be a glitch in sorcery.
/Mathieu.
