But I like to watch things compile. It makes me feel better. Like I'm not
wasting several hours compiling software instead of doing something with it.
I don't think it's that bad.
It would be cool in a windowed type environment, so that you can see where
you are in the list of steps, the stuff being downloaded, and the
compilation messages. I don't suppose there's any way to do that without
using a gui...
Oh well, just the deranged ravings of a tired soul.

Perhaps some method of letting the user know that cast is doing something? A

`gaze compile <spell>` should show the latest log (whether it was successful

There is `gaze voyeur` (run as root) which will view the cast as it happens.
