I'm just putting this idea out here, I don't think I'd be up to
implementing it (at least not right now):

Could a script be written, that acts like a simple custom browser, and
then called from PREPARE, or something?

Something like

- Show the license stuff.
- Ask for a login/new login.
- Login (create account if new).
- Download stuff.

Would something like this be worth it? Could it be used for other
stuff (sun java source)? Would it be horribly wrong, void the GPL or
bring about the end of mankind? ;-)

Just food (or maybe snack?) for thought.
