This is right on, except he wants the opposite behavior. Edit
/etc/init.d/networking.sh and look for the line in start():

loadproc dhcpcd $DEVICE -H

and remove the -H. This should prevent your hostname from being changed
via dhcp. IIRC, someone else brought this up and I think this may be
changed in the init.d spell, or at least be specified as an option.
