This gave me a very interesting idea for documentation.

What if we were to start a "timeline" of sorcery and grimoire versions, and then parallel that timeline with a series of commands neccessary to get from any one point to the present.... updating as commands become invalid and workarounds neccessary.

Could be cool.

Thanks to Arwed who privatly mailed me a sequence of commands that fixed
it. Sorcery is up-to-date, and my kernel is recompiling, with
preemption. Next stop: xfree86 and system-update :)
