By all means have that discussion here so it can be shared with all 849
subscribers to this list.

I suggested previously that you use Google resources to do this. ibiblio
sends people wanting a mailing list to them as they host no new ones any
more.
Keith Johnson has one at ibiblio, maybe you could get some mileage out of
that. Go to Google Groups and create forums for your working groups. These
function almost exactly as this list does.
I also suggest creating a Google Site for each group and for each G+ page.
You can share a wide range of resources amongst those collaborating on and
using those sites, including everything that Google Drive (Google Docs)
offers. Google+ and YouTube provide space for image and video galleries. If
you have audio files to share simply turn them into YouTube music vids with
a static image though there may be other ways to store audio on Google. In
addition create a Google+ page for the NAPC and ones for all your working
groups, linking them to your Google Group forums and Google Sites. All of
these resources can be kept private while individual G+ posts can be made
public as desired. This seems the best that is offered for free on the Web
these days.
