Hi all,
My apologies for the delayed response. I wish I had time to write more to the
listserv. Yes, I am in Hawai'i. I would have to figure out the best way to
ship some. I presume cuttings as that was what was what I acquired and they
are now starting to take off. Here are the varieties (one did not make it)
Reppuns Japanese sweet
Diane
Nalo purple
yoshida
Orange LL
Kahanu purple
Hoolehua
Okinawa
Papa & Kohawai
Ualakea
Mauna Pohaku (from Waimanelo Garden)
Kindest Regards,
Andrew

Georg:
There are two Whole Foods stores in the UK, one in England and one in
Scotland. Gourmet sweet potatoes are grown here in NC and shipped
to the UK. Maybe you could order a few varieties from WF-UK. I called the
local WF and talked with the produce manager. They let me know about the
UK stores and also said they would look into the matter further and get
back to me. I was hoping to buy some of their exotic varieties and have
them mail
them to you in Austria but no go on that one. The disease-insect
regulations on import - export of ag products is probably very much for
real with penalties involved
possible as was suggested in a previous post.
