#3 is a directory listing of files in a collection of text files I have
online in various archives at ibiblio. Read the following to see what
that is all about. Just go to the URL then browse all the different
files and folders therein to see text files with information about the
books referenced by the files in the folder at the URL.

Here's an example:

http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/orgfarm/literature/
[TXT] 4-books-on-family-farm
07-Aug-1995 17:55 2.3K
Is:
http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/orgfarm/literature/4-books-on-family-farm
[ ? ] 21st.Century.Gardener.magazine
29-Aug-1995 12:38 1.0K
[ ? ] 1993-US-organic-farmers-survey
10-Oct-1994 21:16 3.8K
[ ? ] A-Countrymans-Woods
21-Dec-1994 22:31 1.0K
[TXT] A.Biodynamic.Farm
05-Apr-1995 11:39 1.5K

Is:
http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/orgfarm/literature/A.Biodynamic.Farm

Where there is a printed page icon next to the filename that is a text
file that can be read online
Where there is a big questionmark (?) icon that is a piece of email that
it will allow you to download and read as a text file or open with
whatever email client you are using. Just look for the [TXT] or [?] icon
to know how to read the associated file.

Here's more:

Legend:
[ ] are either Unix mail files (email), .eml files (load into Win.
email mail client or text editor), or ascii text files
[DIR] is a link to a folder with more files in it

====================================================================

Within http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/orgfarm/ there are folders
on other subjects, each with their own bibliographies in a /literature
folder. A sample, the sustainable agriculture bibliography (part of it)

These are simple ascii text files but with a unique text string in the
leading message header, From ........, easily read online - it will ask
you how to open it or to download it, just select a web browser or a
text editor or d/l it to read later

These are simple text files also, no embedded formatting code

Some of the titles in the list I posted are text files containing a list
of books and sometimes additional reference information.

http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/orgfarm/literature/organic-farming.bibliography/
contains a large organic agriculture bibliography done by ATTRA's
Preston Sullivan

many subdirectories under orgfarm/ have /literature directories in them -
worth browsing as all bibliographic references are not in the same place
- also go to my homepage (see URL in my sig) to get to my collections on
environment, pesticide education, alternative energy & architecture &
community, rural skills & living, alternative healthcare and herb
information -

Specific collections, each pair, http & ftp, refer to the same location:
