If you distribute your translated copies, yes, of course you are in
breach of copyright law. In some countries (including the USA) you
might be ok if you distribute your translated copies only to people
who have legally bought an original copy (i.e. you could resell
Tagari's original english language videos and give away a free
copy of your subtitled version which each sale). In other countries,
such as here in Brazil, even that would be illegal.

Of course you could ask Tagari for permission, or donate you
subtitle work to them and hope that they distribute it. But if they
choose not to permit it or won't distribute your subtitled version
for whatever reason, you have no legal recourse.
